A vain scientist works to cement his legacy by creating a new form of humanity, only to find his creation wants to kill him for the favor.

This is a modern retelling of the Shelley's morality tale:  Passion trumps wisdom when Victor Frankenstein takes on creating new life, bending the laws of nature and morality to improve on humanity, until he does the unthinkable:
